When your hair reaches the shade you desire, which is usually within two or three weeks use Silver Check less often. Most people find that once or twice a week is sufficient to maintain the colour.
Depending upon your hair type and the colour you desire, you may find you need to apply Silver Check more often or less frequently than this.
When first using Silver Check we recommend that you shampoo only once or twice a week using a mild shampoo. (We recommend Silver Check Mild and Gentle Shampoo.) This allows Silver Check to really start working for you. After you reach the colour you desire, you may shampoo as often as you wish.
It usually takes two to three weeks. There is no sudden change. Your friends will only notice how much younger you look.
The thickness and texture of your hair will influence the colouring process: the more porous your hair, the faster Silver Check will work. If your hair is less porous, the process will be slower and you may have to use Silver Check daily for a little longer.
In fact, some Silver Check customers need more than one bottle to achieve results. However, once you have reached the colour you wish, Silver Check need only be applied once or twice a week to cover the new hair growth.
Yes, you can blow-dry your hair; in fact, this may speed up the colouring process during colder months.
No. - Do not use any styling products such as hair gel; hair mouse; hair spray or wax. These products may build up or coat your hair follicle making it difficult for the Silver Check to work.
Once your hair has achieved the desired colour you may resume using your normal products, however you must ensure you wash your hair well before repeat applications of Silver Check.
Yes - some customers prefer to keep some grey hairs - blending them in naturally. To achieve this, DO NOT apply Silver Check to any area you want to keep grey. Comb your hair normally so the colours blend naturally together.
No - Silver Check is permanent and colorfast. Only bleaching will remove it. It will not colour skin or clothes - only hair.

No - you should not use any hair dyes in conjunction with Silver Check, as this may hinder the colouring process.

As Silver Check is a leave on colour treatment, frequent swimming or showering will wash Silver Check from the hair and slow the colouring process, in this case you may need more frequent applications, say twice a day.
Yes - we recommend only using a perm containing a "Sodium Bromate" based neutralizer - developed for used in conjunction with coloured treated. Other brands have neutralizers containing hydrogen peroxide, which strip the colour from your hair.
